The biggest day of our year...

We've been anxiously awaiting our next appointment because it was a big one! In one morning we had a visit with the midwife, an ultrasound, and blood tests. Everything went well, although we're still waiting for the blood test results. We had our appointments yesterday and everything is looking good! All body parts were accounted for and appeared to be in working order. It was absolutely amazing to see Little Bear's heart, spine, kidneys, leg bones, head, stomach, feet, hands, and so much more!

The little bugger wasn't super-cooperative with the photo opportunity since he was more concerned with swimming all over the place (yea!)...so the pictures aren't real clear. But you can get the idea at least. In the top picture Little Bear's head is on the right and spine is along the top. The bottom picture is two little feet.

As long as everything continues to go along fine in the pregnancy, this might be our last ultrasound. The experience was so amazing...to see the little one moving and grooving and of course there was a lot of relief that s/he's developing well and blood supplies are strong. The heart rate was 158 and strong too!
